Three Benedictions

Three Benedictions These three short, reverent benedictions each are SATB, a cappella with piano reduction. See texts for each below

God Be In My Head
(Sarum Primer-1558)

God be in my head, and in my understanding;
God be in mine eyes, and in my looking;
God be in my mouth, and in my speaking;
God be in my heart, and in my thinking;
God be at mine end, and at my departing. Amen

Prayer of St. Patrick (St. Patrick’s Breastplate Prayer)

Christ be with me, Christ within me,
Christ behind me, Christ before me,
Christ beside me, Christ to win me,
Christ to comfort and restore me.
Christ beneath me, Christ above me,
Christ in quiet, Christ in danger,
Christ in hearts of all that love me,
Christ in mouth of friend and stranger.
Amen

Now to Him Who Is Able (Jude 1:23-24)

Now to Him who is able to keep you from falling; and to present you faultless before the Lord with joy,
To God, our Savior, majesty, dominion, power, now and forever, Amen!
