Are You Ready?

Are You Ready? (Unison/ 2 part with piano, Optional C instrument and Optional percussion) Want an anthem to help teach children about Advent and the Advent Wreath? This one will fit the bill! With original text, each verse reminds singers about the advent candles, what they represent and what advent is all about.

Are You Ready? Text by Brian Childers

Are you ready, are you ready for all hope to be restored?
Are you ready for the com-ing of the Lord?
Are you ready, are you ready for all hope to be restored?
For Christ is coming soon!

Are you ready? Are you ready for the Prince of Peace to come?
Are you ready? Prepare the way!
Are you ready? Are you ready for the Prince of Peace to come?
For Christ is coming soon!

Are you ready? Are you ready for the Light of love to come?
Are you ready for the coming of the Lord?
Are you ready? Are you ready for the Light of love to come?
For Christ is coming soon!

Are you ready? Are you ready for the Joy of all the world?
Are you ready? Prepare the way!
Are you ready? Are you ready for the Joy of all the world?
For Christ is coming soon!

Get ready, prepare your hearts! Light a candle today!
Get ready, prepare your hearts. Go now! Prepare the way!
Christ is coming soon!
